Excursion / Transfer to Kaisariani Monastery

The excursion starts from the place you have chosen (hotel, residence) with final destination of the monastery. Kaisariani Monastery is located a few kilometers from the center of Athens, on the longest mountain in Attica, Ymittos and is the most famous of all the monasteries of Ymittos.

The Kaisarian Monastery is located at an altitude of about 350 meters, in an idyllic setting. Interesting is the dining room of the Monastery, with its fireplace, food storage and monks' dining area.

The Monastery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was built towards the end of the 11th century AD. or at the beginning of the 12th when it ceased to function in 1833.
