Transfer and Tour in Athens

This tour combines the best spots of downtown Athens with the most famous archaeological site, the Acropolis! Prepare to discover Athens with your loved ones.

The tour will start from the place you have chosen (hotel, house), where we will be waiting for you at the predetermined appointment time. We will drive to Athens, where we will visit the building of the Hellenic Parliament, the Acropolis Museum, the Kalimarmaro or Panathenaic Stadium, the Zappeion Mansion, the National Garden, the Constitution - Monument to the Unknown Army, the Archaeological Museum and Lycabettus Hill.

At Syntagma Square the Monument to the Unknown Soldier is located just outside the Parliament building. Known to all of us as "Tsoliades" in their special suits are the members of the Presidential Guard.

Next we will see the Russian and Anglican churches on Philellenes Street and then head to the Temple of Zeus. It is an open air museum and part of the unification of the archaeological sites of Athens. Then we will stop at Kallimarmaro or Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first Olympic Games in 1896.

Next to Panepistimiou Street we will be able to pass through the Monetary Museum of Athens and the impressive neoclassical buildings (Academy of Athens and National Library of Greece) designed by the Danish architect Theophilos Freiherr von Hansen.

We will then head to Stadiou Street where we will see the Old House building. It is a beautiful neoclassical building that now houses the National History Museum of Greece. In front of the building is the bronze statue of General Theodoros Kolokotronis, one of the most important heroes of the Greek Revolution of 1821.

We will then visit the most famous archaeological monument, the Acropolis and the Parthenon Temple, built in the mid-5th century BC to honor the goddess Athena. Next, we will visit the Acropolis Museum, the Herod Atticus Conservatory and finally the Dionysus Theater.

We will then head to Lycabettus Hill, from where we can see the whole of Athens from above. Our final route will be the National Archaeological Museum, with ancient finds from all over Greece.
At the end of the tour the guide will return you to the pick-up point or any other point you wish.
